Really? ... bargeman? - Of course!

This year, the Federal Association of German Inland Navigation and the BDS Inland Navigation, together with the BMDV, which is sponsoring the award, want to present an Oscar of a very special kind. The best video blog is sought, in which the training or professional everyday life on an inland vessel is shown.

Of course, we won't let you tell us twice: Our nautical trainees Jenny, Jakob and Cedric are taking part and documenting part of their everyday work on board with their video blog . Tobias is responsible for camera, sound and editing; he recently completed his training as an event manager with us and will continue to support the project as a working student.

Most young people probably don't even know what opportunities are available and how interesting and varied the job on an inland waterway vessel is. Not only freedom and adventure but also responsibility, modern technology, a variety of tasks, an attractive shift system and good earning opportunities combined with the most beautiful natural views on the water as well as with industry. A profession like no other.
So what could be more obvious than to show this where many young people are on the move: Via video blog in the social media?
